Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using the SL Brake Pads website (the "Service") operated by SL Brake Pads ("us", "we", or "our").
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.
1. Terms of Use
1.1 Account Registration
When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.
1.2 Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. We encourage you to use "strong" passwords (passwords that use a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols) with your account.
1.3 Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of SL Brake Pads and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both Sri Lanka and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of SL Brake Pads.
2. Products and Pricing
2.1 Product Information
We strive to provide accurate product information, including specifications, dimensions, and compatibility. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content on the site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
2.2 Pricing and Availability
All prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The availability of products on our website does not reflect the availability in our physical store, if any.
2.3 Order Acceptance
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. SL Brake Pads reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason.
3. Shipping and Delivery
3.1 Shipping Methods
We offer various shipping methods to deliver products to our customers across Sri Lanka. Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery location and the weight/size of the products ordered.
3.2 Delivery Timeframes
Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of shipping, rather than the date of order. Delivery times are not guaranteed and should be used as a guide only. We are not responsible for any delays in delivery.
3.3 Risk of Loss
The risk of loss and title for items purchased from our website pass to you upon delivery of the items to the carrier.
4. Returns and Refunds
4.1 Return Policy
We accept returns of unused and unopened products within 14 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
4.2 Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7-14 business days.
4.3 Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including custom products, items that have been installed or used, and items that show signs of wear or damage.
5. Warranty
5.1 Warranty Coverage
All brake pads sold by SL Brake Pads come with a standard 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects. This warranty covers replacement of the defective product only and does not cover labor costs for installation or any consequential damages.
5.2 Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim, please contact our customer service with your order number, a description of the defect, and photos if possible. We may require the return of the defective product for inspection before processing a warranty replacement.
5.3 Warranty Limitations
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear. The warranty is void if the product has been modified or installed on vehicles for which it was not designed.
6. Privacy Policy
6.1 Information Collection
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when registering on the website, placing an order, or contacting us. This may include your name, email address, phone number, address, and payment information.
6.2 Use of Information
We use the information we collect to process orders, communicate with you about your orders, provide customer support, and improve our products and services. We may also use your information to send you promotional emails about new products, special offers, or other information we think you may find interesting.
6.3 Information Protection
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall SL Brake Pads, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service;
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service;
- Any content obtained from the Service; and
- Unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
